Leading Nottingham based specialist law firm Cartwright King has
been awarded a new contract by the Legal Services Commission to
provide Legal Aid family legal services in Nottinghamshire. They
will be advising clients on matters relating to divorce and
separation as well as on childcare issues.
Cartwright King is well recognised as a specialist in family
law, being a member of the Law Society's family and childcare
panels as well as a member of Resolution, a national organisation
of family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce,
separation and other family problems. These credentials have played
a key role in the firm being awarded this contract which it has
secured for the first time in the area. It has been awarded similar
contracts in Leicester and Derby.
Cartwright King launched a family department in 2010 and has
since expanded its team of family law specialists across the East
Midlands.

local specialists who can advise them at such difficult times and
we know that there is a growing demand for our services."
Cartwright King, which also has offices in Derby, Leicester,
Sheffield, Birmingham and Gateshead, specialises in criminal
defence, business defence, immigration and mental health. The firm
has 140 staff.
