Brandon Leys FC has secured sponsorship for the third
consecutive season from Lutterworth-based safety specialists,
Longland Safety Management (LSM).
The veterans team, that plays at Aylestone Park Football Club in
Wigston, was in need of a new playing kit including shirts, shorts
and socks when defender Paul Longland, who is also managing
director at LSM, offered sponsorship. LSM provided a striking blue
and black kit, complete with company logo on the players'
shirts.
Ian Hubber, club secretary said: "The team is really pleased
with the new kit and extremely grateful to Paul and all at LSM for
funding its production. The strip certainly makes us look the part,
now we just need to keep scoring goals!"
Paul Longland added: "I have been playing for Brandon Leys FC
for the past seven years so was delighted to be able to further my
involvement by offering sponsorship. LSM is committed to supporting
the local community where possible and because playing a sport
helps to maintain a 'healthy' lifestyle it seemed a logical
alliance for the consultancy."
LSM offers bespoke health and safety advice, training and
assessments to a national client base operating in both the public
and private sectors. The company has recently launched a free email
support service to offer guidance and support for businesses
following the closure of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
information line. Please email support@longland-safety.co.uk with
