Andy Foote, Chairman of the Solihull-based Joseph Foote Trust
holds a limited edition Gibson Les Paul Goddess guitar signed by
the internationally renowned rock band Coldplay, which will be
auctioned at the brain tumour charity's annual ball on Saturday 3rd
March at the Hilton Metropole Hotel - NEC.
The stunning Gibson Les Paul guitar was generously donated by
The Gibson Foundation to The Billie Butterfly Fund to support
Billie Bainbridge, a four-year-old little girl diagnosed with an
inoperable brain tumour.
Having reached their target to support Billie's treatment, the
fund offered the guitar to the Joseph Foote Trust, which was set up
in memory of Andy Foote's son Joseph who died of a brain tumour in
2007 aged nine.
Andy said: "We are overwhelmed by this generous donation and
thank both Billie's family and The Gibson Foundation for giving us
such a valuable auction prize."
Since it was established in 2001, the Joseph Foote Trust has
raised over £2million to fund research into brain tumours and
support those diagnosed with the disease.
