Many of the region's top business minds are set to gather on
Saturday 4th February for the 'No Frills Networking Expo 2012', the
first of its kind - geared towards offering local businesses a head
start for 2012.
Following the recent demise of the government business support
service 'Business Link', the local group has taken it upon
themselves to offer a network of support to new and established
businesses at a fraction of the cost of similar networking groups.
Networking has become a vital marketing tool for business
owners but with some charging hundreds of pounds a year to secure a
place as a member, it can be a daunting financial commitment for
new businesses starting out.
As such, No Frills Networking is inviting all those in the West
Midlands with business ambitions for 2012 to attend their first
Expo, to be held at the Bonded Warehouse, Stourbridge on Saturday
4th February.
No Frills Networking is a not-for-profit organisation set up in
2010 to support local businesses in developing lasting
relationships, in order to benefit the region's economy and create
local jobs.
Judy Owen, chairperson of No Frills Networking says "After two
successful years of No Frills, we felt it was time to showcase the
club to a wider audience. Our members support and promote each
other, resulting in thousands of pounds worth of business being
generated within the group.
This expo will benefit those who find it impossible to attend
these events during the working week and those on a very tight
budget. Absolutely anyone, business or not, can turn up paying
£1 on the door, which will be donated to The West Midlands
Disability Swimming Squad"
Many established businesses will be exhibiting at the event,
available to offer advice to anyone looking into setting up their
own business.
No Frills secretary Dave Colley explains "This expo will offer
all businesses, even those still on the drawing board support,
guidance, and the knowledge that there is a group of local
businesses ready and willing to help."
The Expo will be held in the style of a typical monthly No
Frills meeting, with lots of networking time. There will be three
short seminars and many exhibition stands over two floors of The
Bonded Warehouse.
