Still growing Top Bananas

Local live event specialists Top Banana have finished 2011 with two new appointments to help the company meet continued growth in demand for its event production and venue finding services.

With new clients including Danone and Bentley joining existing names such as Bombay Sapphire and Bacardi, Top Banana had its most successful year ever, despite the gloomy economic climate.

Emma Robinson joins Top Banana Venues where she will be finding all kinds of venues for events ranging from a board meeting for ten to a road show for 4,500 and pretty much everything in between.

Emma joins from The International Centre and has a degree in Event and Venue Management, which she believes will stand her in good stead in her new role. "I learned a lot about the industry, the nuts and bolts of how it operates and I know this will help me find just the right venue for the many different kinds of events that Top Banana creates for its clients."

In her spare time Emma is a fair weather fisher who admits she spends most of her time at the riverside sunbathing!!  She also plays clarinet and saxophone.

Deborah Whale has also joined Top Banana from an events background.  Debs strengthens the production team and is already getting stuck into events for clients including Danone and Wilkinson. Debs believes the event and video experience she already has under her belt, combined with her ability to make things happen, will enable her to hit the ground running in her new role.

When not at work, outdoor enthusiast Debs can generally be found climbing or kayaking in North Wales or sitting at her drum set practicing.

Top Banana's MD, Nick Terry, said of the new appointments: "We're growing so rapidly it's important we recruit really strong new members to the team to make sure we continue to deliver excellent events every time. January/February is always one of our busiest times of year and 2012 is no exception. It's great to be a part of a business that's thriving and to have the opportunity to help some of the world's most famous brands to achieve their business goals by really engaging their staff".
