Following a successful 2011, which saw Banbury solicitors Spratt Endicott increase its client base significantly and recruit a number of staff to meet growing demand, the firm has kicked off the New Year with the promotion of five fee earners from across four departments.

Jayne Lees and Maria Young were promoted to Non-lawyer Associates in the Commercial Recoveries and Residential Property departments respectively while Caroline Gibbs and Paula Green within the Dispute Resolution team were promoted to Partners along with Lucy Gordon of the firm's Private Capital department.

John Spratt, Managing Partner at Spratt Endicott Solicitors, comments: "We have enjoyed a fantastic 12 months, with three of our team's jumping another tier in the Legal 500 rankings and recognition at another two national award events for our Dispute Resolution team. Thanks to an ever-growing portfolio of clients, we made the decision to promote Jayne, Maria, Caroline, Paula and Lucy based on the high level of service they provide clients, often going beyond the call of duty. Each of them bring a wealth of experience to their new roles that, when combined with their professionalism and commitment means we will continue to maintain our impressive client base while attracting new business. In addition, these five promotions serve to further strengthen our departments' offerings into 2012 and beyond, allowing us to expand into new sectors."

Caroline Gibbs and Paula Green were both promoted to Partner within the Dispute Resolution department. Caroline now heads up the team with Paula, who is an accredited mediator and member of the Property Litigation Association, advising clients on a broad range of property related matters. Private Capital's new Partner, Lucy Gordon, carries out Court of Protection work and, within her new role: she will deal with the firm's multi-million pound estates and a client portfolio, including national and international dignitaries, high-profile celebrities and high net worth families as well as a number of charities.

Jayne Lees has over 20 years' experience within the debt recovery industry and her new role as Non-Lawyer Associate within the Commercial Recoveries department will see her focusing on bringing new business into the department while developing relationships with existing clients. Maria Young also has more than 20 years of experience in acting for clients in property transactions. Her new role as Non-Lawyer Associate will include acting for sellers and buyers in house moves, transfers of equity and re-mortgage transactions.
