A rapidly growing client base and a recent expansion into larger office space all adds up to the prospect of a successful 2012 for a Shropshire accountancy firm.

Since the launch of its Shrewsbury branch less than two years ago, DJH Accountants has seen significant interest from the local business community and now provides its range of services, including accountancy, tax advice, business start-up support, and financial planning, to more than 100 companies across the county.

"Shropshire has always been a priority area for us as a company, as it is such a key business hub for the West Midlands, so having a dedicated office in the county was always part of our long-term strategy," Steve Timmis, Director of DJH Accountants and head of the firm's Shrewsbury branch, explained.

Due to the initial success of DJH Accountants' early forays into the county, the firm expanded into larger office space on Shrewsbury's Battlefield Enterprise Park last Spring, a move which has enabled the company to form even stronger relationships with its clients.

Steve Timmis commented: "Our whole ethos is all about going above and beyond the usual standards of service, and our Shrewsbury base has really allowed us to get to know our clients face-to-face. By becoming a proactive partner with local companies and providing them with regular reviews and advice, we are able to act as a 'sounding board' and help companies create sustainable, long-term strategies that achieve tangible business and individual objectives.

"From these ongoing discussions with our clients, we know just how many positive business ideas and real success stories are happening right across the county, which bodes well for the year to come."

In addition to providing accountancy, tax, and business advice, the Shrewsbury office also incorporates a dedicated wealth management division, DJH Wealth Management Ltd, headed up by Steve Amison, a pension transfer specialist and one of the most highly-qualified independent financial advisors in the West Midlands. He advises in complex areas such as pensions and divorce, options at retirement, trustee investments and estate planning.

With bases in Shropshire and Staffordshire, DJH provides a wide range of services to businesses and individuals across the Midlands, including accountancy, tax advice, business start-up support, personal tax advice, and wealth management. Founded in 1984, the company has built up an enviable reputation for providing timely, cost-effective, and professional financial and business advice, tailored to the needs of each client, from large multinational companies to rapidly expanding SMEs.
