Market-leading leisure management company Leisure Connection,
which operates more than 70 sports and cultural venues across the
UK, has appointed Stoke-on-Trent based maintenance specialist
Seddon Property Services to provide building maintenance
services.
Seddon has been appointed for a 12-month contract to carry out
planned and reactive maintenance services. The deal is worth up to
£1 million, with the option for the contract to be extended
at the end of the year.
Leisure Connection, which manages facilities for a large number
of local authority clients, has a portfolio including 91 swimming
pools, more than 25 football pitches, four theatres and ten hotel
and fitness venues. The company's Harpers Fitness gym brand has
over 55,000 members.
Seddon will carry out reactive maintenance service from its
regional service hubs while the planned maintenance work will be
run from its Bolton office. The contract includes building fabric
maintenance and painting and decorating services.
