Leading Worcester-based audio visual and events company, PSG
Events Limited, are celebrating one of their most successful years
in which they supplied audio visual equipment, technical expertise,
staging and event management skills to some of country's most
prestigious companies.
With a clientbase that includes such famous names as Bacardi,
Wickes, Philips, Barratt Homes, Siemens, Sainsbury's and Staples,
PSG Events carried out over 120 conferences and events throughout
2011. The firm has also increased its clientbase in number of niche
industry sectors including healthcare, public sector, leisure and
hotel chains including some of the country's leading names such as
Holiday Inn, Hilton and Best Western. They also provide technical
and event management support to a number of charities including
Marie Curie Cancer Care the Multiple Sclerosis Society and
Headway.
Over the past year, this family-owned business which can trace
its heritage right back to the 1930's in the events industry, has
invested over £30,000 worth of new state-of-the-art audio
visual equipment and has recently recruited two new members of
staff, Jody Carvell who joins as Sales Manager and Marius
(Maz) Goodwin who joins as a Senior Project Manager.
Among the many highlights of 2011, PSG Events organised a number
of road Shows including 5 week Road Show for one the country's
leading pharmacy chains. They were also involved in supplying
equipment and organising conferences for Thomas Sanderson Blinds,
the British Heart Foundation, Wickes, Staples and Securitas to name
but a few.
According to Keith Istead, Managing Director of PSG Events
Limited, the key to the company's success lies in its service,
people and understanding of the client's needs.
He says,
"As an events company we are totally self- sufficient. We carry
all the equipment in-house without the need to hire it in for
events. We are always mindful of budgets, particularly in this
economic climate where companies still need to carry out their
internal communications function in a motivating and professional
manner but without spending the large sums of money that have
previously been seen across the industry. Although our capabilities
extend to the large events such as award ceremonies and sales
conferences, we have noticed that over the past few years, the
requests have been for more medium-sized types of events which we
excel in organising as a firm. We are also looking to increase the
dry hire side of the business in 2012, via a courier based delivery
and collect service allowing clients to manage the audio visual
equipment themselves. In terms of our service, PSG Events offers a
dedicated team of event management experts and every client is
treated as an individual. Every proposal we give is bespoke to the
client's needs and we offer innovative and cost effective solutions
to help make every event a success. We are also at the end of the
phone 24/7 for our clients and having developed a number of niche
industry specialisms, we have built-up a real understanding of
different types of businesses and their event requirements."
