A Shropshire firm of property law experts is drawing up plans
for continued expansion following a hugely successful year marked
by three significant milestones.
Much Wenlock-based Fodens Solicitors has entered 2012 on the
back of a phenomenal last few months, which saw the firm relocate
into larger premises, achieve a prestigious industry standard for
excellence, and have one of its senior team gain national
recognition at a special ceremony in the House of Commons.
The firm, which specialises in all property-related legal
matters and is led by experienced Founding Partner and Director
Stephen Foden, acquired the old HSBC Bank building on the town's
High Street, and following a series of eye-catching and sympathetic
renovations, finally moved into its new 1,100 sq ft site during the
Spring.
Further success was secured in August, when Fodens Solicitors
achieved the Lexcel Practice Management Standard. "This is the Law
Society's international yardstick and demonstrates that certain
professional standards have been met," Stephen Foden explained. "It
is only awarded to solicitors that meet the highest possible
management and customer care standards, and we had to undertake a
rigorous independent inspection to prove that we meet these strict
requirements."
Kelly Davies, a Director at the firm, was also recognised at a
prestigious event held by industry body the Institute of Legal
Executives (ILEX) in the House of Commons Terrace Pavilion. Kelly
was honoured as one of the first 100 Legal Executives in the
country to become a fully-fledged partner of a legal practice.
Following on from these three landmarks, the firm now has
exciting plans to develop both its range of services and its team.
Stephen Foden commented: "We are expanding our expertise to deal
with matters of wills and probate, and due to the increasing number
of instructions we've been receiving in recent months, we're also
looking to grow our team further during the early part of the
year."
Formed in 1999, Fodens Solicitors provides advice in all areas
of law where "property matters", including residential and
commercial property sales and purchase, building construction
disputes and advice, debt recovery, shareholder disputes, and
contested probate claims.
