New space brings hotel chic to the office market

Bildurn Properties, who specialise in urban real estate development, has just launched its first ever managed offices in Nottingham city centre.

The stylish Knight & Whitehall House, a late 19th century building covering 3,500ft²over three floors has been renovated to a very high standard. Investment in the upgraded facilities includes highest specification of connectivity.

The hallmark of the period accommodation is Bildurn's unusual approach and investment in the design and décor of the offices. The high ceilings offer a substantial amount of natural daylight and period features are contrasted by contemporary styling.

The stylish interior design is reminiscent of an urban boutique hotel. Thoughtful features include stylish primary colours on walls and flooring, unusual finishing touches such as timber feature walls and industrial contemporary lighting.

The property on Carlton Street is in the heart of Nottingham's dynamic creative sector, close to both Hockley and the Lace Market. The period building with its contemporary edge provides flexible office space from as little as 170ft² ideal for one or two workers up to suites of 570 ft².

The central location is just round the corner from the Lace Market stop on the NET tram route making it 5mins from Nottingham Midland station. It is also ideally placed for all essential amenities such as shops, cafes and bars and is also only 5 mins walk from Nottingham Contemporary and opposite Nottingham's newly opened Mercure four star boutique hotel.

Bildurn Properties are the team behind Nottingham's award winning modernist Pod development and Lace Market Square.

The development was designed to appeal to a wide variety of occupiers looking for a city centre location from new entrepreneurs, expanding small businesses and those looking for a temporary home. The flexible easy-in- easy out terms make the facility very attractive to new start-ups and companies looking for immediate and hassle-free accommodation.

The property was named after the company Knight & Whitehall one of the previous occupiers and owners of the building.

Sean Akins, Director of Bildurn, "This is our first venture into managed office space and is something we have been considering for some time. Facilities designed for small business operators is something which perfectly complements our portfolio. Before the facility has even been formerly launched we already have secured tenants for Knight & Whitehall House and initial feedback has been excellent."
