Chartered accountants JW Hinks have merged with fellow
Edgbaston-based chartered accountants Mason Law LLP.
Bob Law and his team from Mason Law have an established position
in the audit of pension schemes, together with 25 years'
experience in taxation and accountancy services, business advice
and Independent Financial Advice.
Paul Jones, Managing Partner at JW Hinks, which was founded in
1896, said the merger would strengthen JW Hinks position as one of
the leading independent firms of chartered accountants and business
advisers in Birmingham.
He said: "For some time we have been looking to merge with
another successful, client focussed accountancy practice as part of
our long term project to develop the practice.
"Mason Law is a recognised accountancy practice with a rich
heritage in providing quality financial services, particularly to
the pension scheme world.
"For many years, the Partners at JW Hinks have followed a
philosophy of providing the best possible service in a friendly and
efficient manner.
"The merger with Mason Law will continue this philosophy and is
ideal for the practice to continue to thrive and prosper in the
decades to come."
Bob Law added: "We are delighted to have completed this merger
with JW Hinks, which will strengthen the service to our clients and
our experience and specialisms operating within JW Hinks will
provide a springboard to promote those specialisms to appropriate
potential clients.
