Linda Myers joins law firm Linder Myers

Shropshire law firm Linder Myers has often experienced people ringing up and asking for Linda Myers but their Manchester head office phone will now be answered by Linda Myers herself!

As part of the recent acquisition of Rowlands Field Cunningham in December 2011, Linder Myers Solicitors has acquired its very own namesake, a staff member called Linda Myers.

"What are the chances!" said Linda, no relation to Mr Harry Myers, one of the original founders of the firm in the 1920s. "It may take a while to get used to hearing my name and realising people are talking about the company, not me."

Linder Myers has branch offices in both Lancashire and Shropshire and all three offices continue to expand.

The Shropshire office moved into bigger premises at Talbot House in Shrewsbury in October last year and has welcomed a number of new solicitors in the past 12 months.

The Manchester office has expanded existing departments, and acquired a new one, Occupational Disease, headed by Jon Andrews, former joint managing partner at Rowlands. Jon specialises particularly in asbestos, exposure to hazardous materials and other illnesses, diseases and conditions caused by the working environment.
