Embassy House, a landmark period fronted building in the heart
of Birmingham's central business district, has undergone a £2
million refurbishment to provide grade A office accommodation.
Located on the corner of Church Street and Cornwall Street,
Embassy House was constructed in 1899 by architects Owen &
Ward.
The refurbishment included major works to the reception and
communal areas and an upgrade of all vacant office accommodation to
include comfort cooling, perimeter and floor trunking and new LG7
compliant lighting.
The original period facade of the building has been
retained.
DTZ and Jones LangLaSalle are joint letting agents on the
building on behalf of the landlord, AXA Real Estate Investment
Managers.
Matt Long of DTZ commented: "With the well documented shortage
of grade A office space in Birmingham city centre and speculative
development still some way off, Embassy House is now able to offer
high quality accommodation with an unrivalled location in the heart
of Birmingham's financial and professional service quarter."
Refurbished suites are available from 1,235 to 8,784 sq ft.
