A leading property consortium has chosen Cheltenham as a new
base for experts to exchange ideas about investment
opportunities.
In these uncertain times, local property investor Matthew
Hollingsworth said it is a good time to learn about property
despite so many negative messages from the media.
The Cotswolds based architect, is urging those with 'open minds'
to come along, when he hosts the Property Investment Network (PIN)
meeting later this month.
"It's easy to listen to the doom and gloom, but most experienced
investors say is it's a great time to buy property and those with
open minds will take this on board," said Mr Hollingsworth, who is
running the monthly meetings with his wife Debbie.
The PIN Meetings are hosted in 25 different locations across the
UK, and despite the economic climate are growing year on year.
"There are many reasons why property is still a sound investment
and why serious investors want to continue their education," he
added. "There is a strong rental market because so many people are
having problems getting on the ladder and it is a great time to
refurbish properties as building costs are so much lower than a few
years ago. There are a host of other good reasons as well."
He added that Gloucestershire was ideally situated to now
host PIN.
"There is still a great deal of wealth in this region and many
excellent opportunities as well as savvy investors and would-be
investors," he said.
"This is an opportunity to find positive solutions and this form
of networking and exchanging ideas and working together can only be
of benefit to the Gloucestershire economy."
Mr and Mrs Hollingsworth will be joined by other experienced
property experts including solicitors, estate agents and
surveyors, for the meeting on Tuesday January 17 at the Cheltenham
Regency Hotel, Gloucester Road, Staverton, which starts at 6pm.
Admission is £20 on the evening, or free by calling 0121
