Well-established optical brand Hakim Group has invested in the
latest practice management software from West Midlands based
See20/20.
The independent group, owned by optometrist and entrepreneur
Imran Hakim, has appointed See20/20 to roll out its recently
updated software in all 20 practices throughout the UK, as part of
its strategic growth plans.
Hakim Group will now manage its multi-branch operations with the
latest version of the See20/20 system enabling patient records,
stock, appointments, dispensing and payments to all be controlled
in real-time from any location. It will also benefit from the new
dispensing and ordering software and SpecsCare insurance module
from See20/20.
Mr Hakim said: "We were immediately impressed with See20/20 and
its no-nonsense, simple application.
"See20/20 offered a complete outsourced solution, at the same
time as removing the complicated and costly network set-up,
continual support fees and software upgrade charges we were used to
experiencing with other practice management software providers.
"Importantly, See20/20 was able to transfer all our existing
data over into our new web-based system, without causing any
interruption or data loss.
"With our aggressive expansion plans, it is important our
practice management system has the capability to grow with our
business."
Paul Houston, sales and marketing director of See20/20 said: "As
a fast-growing business, Hakim Group needed to streamline its
practice management and avoid relying on a variety of bespoke
systems all operating independently.
"With See20/20, the group has the ability to access vital
information such as patient records, diary activity and prescribing
rates for individual practices or across the group at the touch of
a button. They can also see how individual practices are performing
and what product lines are selling, allowing the business to make
critical decisions based on real-time information."
See20/20 - the only internet-based practice management system -
can be used to manage multiple branches at the same time. This
means patients can visit different outlets, all of which will have
access to their records, saving them from being tied to the same
location.
Currently, over 300 organisations and practices across the UK
now use the See20/20 system.
