Fresh creative talent has been added to refrigeration specialist
Husky's retail design team thanks to the appointment of new product
designer Sandeep Jassal.
In 2010, Sandeep graduated from the University of the West of
England (UWE) with a 2:1 in Creative Product Design.
Sandeep will work between concepts with both commercial and
retail teams at Lutterworth-based Husky, on the production and
engineering of new products.
Geoff Thomasson, CEO at Husky, said: "We are pleased to welcome
Sandeep. He is a valuable addition, strengthening our design team
and bringing fresh ideas to the table."
Added Sandeep: "Husky has some truly iconic products, like its
branded beer fridges and ever-popular wine coolers, but it also has
some even more exciting things in the pipeline.
"I am really keen to get my teeth stuck into the role and make a
start at designing my own products for the market."
Outside work, Sandeep is a keen sportsman, playing Sunday League
football for Hawkesmill FC in Coventry, as well as playing for a
local five-a-side team.
He also enjoys photography and has a passion for keeping up to
date with the latest advances in design software and techniques,
especially Computer Aided Design (CAD).
