Midlands-based law firm, QualitySolicitors Talbots ran a highly
successful Property Conference in December, which saw the pick of
the region's Estate Agent community join forces with them in a
mission to make the most of the challenging housing
market.
The sixth such Conference run by QualitySoliciors Talbots,
attendees heard from leading authorities on conveyancing including
experts on sales techniques; leading-edge conveyancing software and
training. The event was held on Monday 5th December at the
Copthorne Hotel Merry Hill Dudley, whose festive plans centre on a
'Christmas at the Movies' theme.
Senior Partner and Residential Property lawyer, Martyn Morgan,
said "The housing market is extremely challenging as everyone is
well aware. Our aim for the Conference was to look at things
positively, to see the market as 'half-full', as there are still
1.2 million UK buyers and sellers each year".
Martyn continued: "Having local Estate Agents attend, we hope to
build stronger bonds with them, supporting them to be successful.
Our speakers shared tips and advice that should allow them to think
about removing risk, converting enquiries and improving how they
work with their chosen partners, including law firms".
The Conference also raised £500.00 for the Chris Westwood
Charity for Children with Physical Disabilities. Attendance was
free of charge but attendees were warmly encouraged to donate a
£10 fee for the charity.
