Redditch based Oakland International Limited, celebrated with a
champagne drinks reception for employees at a special Awards
Evening at Worcester's Bowl Xtreme on Saturday 7th January,
awarding a total of fourteen awards between the forty-three
selected finalists, as well as twenty-eight long-service awards,
with the awards extravaganza continuing well in to the night.
Recognising a range of business skills and personal qualities,
award categories included:
Contribution to the Community, Customer Service, Best New
Starter, Developing Others, Personal Development, Management
Development, Manager, Supervisor and Employee of the Year awards,
Safety, Health and Environmental Impact, Buddy and Bright Sparks
awards and Long Service Awards for three and five years
service.
The Long Service awards as well as the Award finalists, chosen
and voted for by their colleagues, were presented with their awards
in front of colleagues and their families.
Dean Attwell stated: "Throughout Oakland International's
thirteen-years of trading we have continued to enjoy business
success, both in times of prosperity and in this current economic
climate we now all face. It is due to their hard work and
dedication that we continue to see sustained growth, with our
employee numbers now up to 204, with further recruitment still
planned for 2012, which is fantastic news for our UK and Irish
teams and for the future."
