A Coventry law firm is looking to build on its firm foundations
with the appointment of two new experts to its team.
Former barrister, Kate Mahon and solicitor, Matt Cannan have
joined city centre practice Button Legal, in Warwick Road.
Ms Mahon, who originally qualified as a barrister in 2006, is an
assistant solicitor in Button Legal's private client department,
specialising in wills, probate, tax planning, wealth preservation
and contentious probate matters. The Warwick University graduate
cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and enjoyed a successful
career in a private client department in the City of London before
moving back to Warwickshire.
Mr Cannan has joined the Coventry firm primarily as a family law
specialist, advising on a number of issues including divorce and
separation, children and contact issues and domestic violence
cases. He also advises on commercial matters, including contracts
and agreements.
