A Warwickshire firm made the winning bid when it came to getting
their man for a new position monitoring the company's car auction
site.
Cooper Solutions, based in Barford, has hired David Goode as its
'man in the chair' to monitor activity on its trade vehicle auction
site FullAuction, which operates over 100 live used car auctions at
any given time.
The firm, which designs web-based solutions for over 1,000 UK
franchised car dealers, acted quickly to get their man and he
joined the company just two days after coming in for an initial
interview.
The 59-year-old, from Kenilworth, has considerable experience of
the automotive industry having previously been employed across
Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon with Rybrook BMW and MINI.
"I came for an interview on Monday, came into the office to get
a bit of inside experience of the company the following day and was
offered the job on Wednesday, so it was a bit of a whirlwind," said
Goode.
"I love it here. In fact I even said that if I wasn't being paid
I would still like to keep coming in! It's such good fun, the
people are great and the work is really interesting."
Full Auction is just one of Cooper Solutions' suite of web-based
products for automotive dealerships which includes well-known
brands FullCover, FullForecast and FullControl for courtesy car
insurance, financial management and used car stock control
respectively.
Barry Cooper, managing director at Cooper Solutions, said: "We
are delighted to have David on board and I am sure his experience
and expertise will prove invaluable.
"David's appointment comes at an important time in the
development of FullAuction as it continues to attract an increasing
number of buyers, produce strong selling prices and significantly
reduce costs for both buyers and sellers."
