More than 150 colleagues and friends joined Midlands property entrepreneur Chris Lea to mark his retirement as Chairman of Stoford Developments.

Appropriately, the event was held at Metro Bar and Grill in Newhall Street where Chris was presented with a photographic montage of highlights in his career by fellow Director Dominic Stokes who founded the company with Chris in 1996.

A bucket collection raised £1,120 - and 50 Euros! - for the CLIC Sargent charity. This Summer Chris plans to cycle the length of France in support of the charity which cares for children and young people with cancer.
