The Joseph Foote Trust received a cash boost from The Company of
Master Jewellers when it raised £1,500 for the Solihull-based
brain tumour research charity.
The organisation, which has some 135 jewellery retail members
representing 240 shops across the UK and Ireland, collected the
monies at a gala dinner attended by more than 400 guests at the
Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
Lucy Hill, Brand Manager of Rugby-based CMJ said: "We are always
keen to help local charities and are delighted to support such a
worthy cause."
Since it was established in 2001, The Joseph Foote Trust has
raised more than £2million and has an ambitious target to
secure a further £1million in 2012 to fund cutting edge
research to dramatically improve survival rates in both adults and
children.
