Cedar Lodge Care Home in Worcestershire has been sold by the
Birmingham Office of national business agents, Christie + Co.
The care home occupies a prominent location in a small village
near to the town of Evesham.
The home comprises a detached, period, former dwelling house
built around the mid to late 19th century. Whilst converted to use
a care home in the late 1980s, the building has retained much of
its character and its large rooms.
Martin Gould of Christie + Co, who handled the sale, commented:
"Cedar Lodge care home is an attractive period property with a very
good trading history that is located in a delightful village on the
outskirts of Evesham. It currently has registration for 13
residents but does have the potential to increase this."
Christie + Co sought an asking price of £975,000 for the
freehold interest of Cedar Lodge and it was sold for an undisclosed
sum.
