All the fun of the wedding Fayre at The Maynard

Peak District hotel and restaurant, The Maynard in Grindleford, will be hosting its much anticipated Spring Wedding Fayre on Sunday 22 April between 11.30 am and 4.00 pm. In addition to free entry, the first hundred brides through the doors will receive a free gift bag, full of goodies! The Maynard's team of experienced wedding planners will also be on hand to offer their wedding day advice to ensure brides and grooms have the perfect day.

Whether you already have your wedding booked, or are looking for a potential venue, The Maynard Wedding Fayre will provide the perfect opportunity to plan every detail of your big day and make it an event to remember. Many of the best local wedding suppliers will also be in attendance, with specialist wedding photographers, dress makers and florists all showcasing their skills on the day.

"The Maynard wedding Fayre has always proved very popular and the whole team is really looking forward to the next big event in our spring weddings calendar," said Maynard director Jane Hitchman. "Planning all the details of a wedding can be very stressful and this event is an ideal opportunity for couples to explore all the options and really make their wedding day as special as it should be. We have some of the region's best suppliers attending so it's sure to be a great day!"

The Maynard is an ideal wedding venue, boasting panoramic Peak District views and a highly acclaimed double AA Rosette restaurant. A new range of wedding packages are available to cater for everyone's needs, including licensed civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, plus evening and daytime events. Wedding breakfasts for up to 130 people can be accommodated and evening receptions for up to 300.

For those who have already booked their wedding venue, the Wedding Fayre is not an event to miss, as it provides an important opportunity to ask any last minute questions prior to your big day.

"Planning a wedding doesn't have to be a stressful event," continued Jane. "You can really get a feel for what your wedding will be like by attending the Fayre, and with all the options available, this day could almost be as fun as the wedding day itself! Feel free to bring along any friends and family, and see for yourself just how fun a wedding Fayre can be."

Couples will have the opportunity to tour the hotel and experience how The Maynard and its function rooms can be transformed for the most important day of their lives. The Windsor Room will be set for a civil ceremony, while the restaurant will be open for people to sample the superb cuisine. The Ballroom will play host to the wedding suppliers on the day.

"Our approach has always been to take our cue from the couples who visit us," said The Maynard's Wedding Planner Kate Lloyd. "There's no pressure, just a friendly atmosphere, where you can speak to everyone and get any advice you need. We think couples should be allowed to see for themselves what makes us so special as a wedding venue, so we are happy to let people see their dream for themselves at the Maynard."

All new wedding packages for 2012 are now available, including special midweek deals and all expressly designed with flexibility in mind, allowing everything from the room/s, guest numbers and menus to be tailored to personal requirements. The hotel also offers many nice touches based on experience; including not operating a minimum numbers policy for the wedding breakfast, (the hotel knows how difficult this can be to know beforehand!) plus The Maynard guarantees there will be only one wedding on your big day - yours!
