National law firm Weightmans has announced a series of
promotions for the New Year with the appointment of three new
partners and nine associates over four offices nationwide.
The firm's new partners are: Charlie Williams
(Transport-Liverpool), Mandy Higgins (Employment-Liverpool) and
Martin Vincent (Corporate-Manchester).
The new associates are: Emmet Boyce (Transport-Liverpool), Emma
Galland (Healthcare-London), Jon Gregson (Employment-Liverpool),
Anna Kerrane (Corporate-Manchester), Ciaran McNamara
(Construction-Manchester), Emma Rice (Marine and
Transit-Liverpool), Dewi Ap-Thomas (Regulatory-Liverpool), Peter
Ward, (DDU-Leicester) and Victoria Wright (Commercial
Insurance-Liverpool)
Managing Partner Patrick Gaul said:
"These promotions reflect the firm's ongoing growth and
expansion and are very well deserved.

The news follows a string of employment accolades awarded to the
firm in 2011 including an entry in the Vault Guide's '20 Best
Firms to Work For' survey and a recognition for diversity by the
Black Solicitors Network annual league table.
Weightmans' achievements have also been recognised by the firm's
industry peers with shortlist nominations for the Large Firm of the
Year category at the 2012 Manchester Legal Awards and
National/Regional Firm of the Year at the Legal Business Awards
2012. The winners will be decided at the awards ceremonies held on
1 March and 9 February respectively.
