Nottingham architects CPMG have promoted four of their senior
members of staff to group director to support the future growth of
the business following the recent Management Buy Out.
Hugh Avison, Anil Parmar, Chris White and Paul Bodill, who have
a wealth of experience built up over a number of years across all
areas of the business, have been promoted in recognition of their
contribution to the firm and for the role they will be playing in
developing the business going forward.
Hugh Avison joined CPMG in October 2000 after graduating from
the University of Nottingham. He specialises in designing for the
education sector, completing a number of school, college and
university projects and is currently involved in three new
academies. Chris White has been with the firm for nine years and
has played a key role on commercial projects and in expanding
CPMG's work on air traffic control towers, helping the firm
complete more than any other architectural practice in the UK.
Anil Parmar joined the practice in 1998 after several years
working in the region and his portfolio includes a number of
healthcare and industrial projects. He is currently involved with
the new Quayside Pavilion for HMS Belfast in London.
Paul Bodill has been with CPMG for eight years and has worked on
a variety of projects including offices for the MoD and Primary
Care facilities in Aston, St Anns and Bulwell.
CPMG employs 56 people and provides quality architecture,
interior design, space planning and master planning services for
clients across the UK. The firm services a variety of industries
including the education, commercial, industrial, healthcare,
residential, hotels and leisure, transportation and retail sectors
and has earned a national reputation for its innovative work.
CPMG managing director David Glazebrook said: "It's a very
exciting time as we undergo a period of change and these four new
group directors are the next tier of management who will help drive
the company forward and build on our success. They have all earned
their stripes at the practice working on a number of important
projects and we're delighted to reward their contribution with
these promotions. As we look to expand our portfolio into new
sectors, this next generation will be integral to driving new ideas
and innovation to ensure CPMG remains competitive during the
current challenging period in the economy."
