Lease renewals see industrial estate retain high occupancy

Innes England has acted on behalf of property developer Blueprint and secured six lease renewals at the Monk Road Industrial Estate in Alfreton, Nottingham.

The Midlands leading property consultant has secured the lease renewals ensuring that the industrial estate retains strong occupancy levels.

James Scholter of Innes England, who acted on behalf of Blueprint, says: “The completed renewals have seen various local businesses renew their leases at the estate for a further three years. This commitment by the current tenants is fantastic news for Blueprint and for the estate in general.”

“Although there are a couple of units still available on the estate, it continues to have a high occupancy rate. This is partly due to its fantastic location just off the A38 close to Junction 28 of the M1 Motorway.”

The Monk Road industrial estate is owned by property developer and investor Blueprint. Tenants include engineering firms, automotive companies and repair workshops.

Alec Hamlin of Blueprint says: “We are delighted with the continued success of this estate. Retaining six existing tenants is testament to the quality of both the properties and management of the scheme.”

The refurbishment of unit 8 will complete imminently. The unit will comprise a ground floor area of 10,809 sq ft, with additional first floor office accommodation. Unit 15 is available to let now upon terms to be agreed.
