to harassed school-run mums by opening for coffee, pastries and
muffins at 8.30 in the morning.
The Swan with Two Necks in Longdon, which has just re-opened
under new management is providing the much-needed sustenance to
parents dropping their youngsters off at St James primary school,
which is just across the road from the pub.
And villagers in Longdon are also invited to have an early
morning cup of coffee.
Local businessman Neil Morten who has just taken over the pub
said it was all part of his plans to put the pub at the heart of
the community..
"We're delighted to be able to open up for the benefit of
harassed parents dropping their youngsters off. A natter over a cup
of coffee and a pastry is just what is needed on these cold
mornings," he said.
The pub serves the world famous Nespresso gourmet
Michelin-starred coffee made popular as the coffee served at Heston
Blementhal's Fat Duck restaurant in Bray.
