Stratford Upon Avon's Benchmark Grounds Maintenance Ltd has
agreed additional working capital support from its banking partners
RBS to fund the delivery of additional contracts for their
services.
Benchmark specialise in the provision of comprehensive grounds
maintenance services and interior plant maintenance to both the
commercial and public sectors nationwide. As a business they were
conceived to support property professionals such as property
managers, facilities managers and managing agents. Today they
maintain shopping centres, office blocks, business parks,
industrial estates, hospitals, superstores, show homes, schools and
leisure facilities.
2011 has seen the company take on a number of new contracts and
orders. This is the second time in 12 months that RBS has extended
finance to support the additional workload as the company moves
towards a £3million turnover.
Jeremy Rodway-Smith, managing director, Benchmark Grounds
Maintenance said: "2011 has been a good year for us and the
prospects for 2012 are looking good as well. Additional contracts
put pressure on our cash flow as we meet the extra workload so this
further funding will help to increase our turnover and
profitability - in the process, expanding the business and creating
the right environment for us to take on additional staff."
Nick Dobson, senior commercial manager at RBS added: "Jeremy has
cleverly grown the business by having a clear focus on the quality
of customer service and a clear understanding of his customer
market. That has been rewarded with their growth this year and we
hope our support helps them in turn to enjoy a successful
2012."
