Three solicitors at Nelsons took on the national three peaks challenge to raise £1,400 for Warning Zone, an East Midlands children's charity.

Director at Nelsons, James Coningsby was joined by solicitors Nick Benton and Paul Belliere-Wilson to scale the highest peaks in each of England, Scotland and Wales in 'one-go'.

The intrepid trio walked Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, supported by the firm's HR and development manager, Lindsey Harrison and IT support manager, Matthew Riches, who volunteered as drivers.

"Despite a flat tyre travelling between peaks, we were delighted to have completed the challenge in good time. We'd like to thank everyone who sponsored us and made donations, helping to raise much-needed funds for Warning Zone, an exciting interactive centre in Leicester.

"Warning Zone offers schools a quality, high impact "learning for life" resource for 10 and 11 year olds and other vulnerable groups, with the aim of helping to reduce injuries and involvement in antisocial behaviour and offending. The charity is not about wrapping up kids in cotton wool, they equip youngsters with the skills and awareness to keep out of trouble. They do great work and we hope the funds raised will help them to continue to provide this valuable resource in our community."
