A Birmingham company has been on a double-up Christmas present
run to bring some joy into the lives of youngsters in the city.
BHSF, the healthcare insurer and employee benefits provider,
went on its annual run to Acorns in Selly Oak, the charity set up
to care for life limited and life threatened children and young
people, and the Ladywood Project, which offers support to local
families and provides drop-in advice, children's work and women's
groups as well as money and social worker guidelines.
Staff from BHSF, which has adopted both charities as partners in
its corporate social responsibility programme, delivered chocolates
and soft toys.
Peter Maskell, chief executive of BHSF, said: "Both these causes
are close to our hearts and we pull out all the stops to make the
lives of the youngsters a little brighter around Christmas
time".
