A business advisory firm has continued to enhance its core
services by recruiting a VAT specialist.
Cooper Parry, which has offices in Nottingham, Leicester and
Derby has appointed Julian Rosser as a senior VAT manager. He has
replaced Steve Taylor who retired from the firm after 20 years of
service.
Julian brings over 25 years of experience with HMRC and a top
four accountancy firm covering all areas of VAT.
Simon Baines, tax partner at Cooper Parry, said: "VAT is a
crucial service that we offer and the need for advice in this area
is growing. We are naturally delighted to have replaced an
experienced specialist like Steve with someone of Julian's
calibre.
"Julian's experience and skills will be invaluable to our
clients in the Midlands and will also be of particular benefit to
Cooper Parry's specialist teams working on specific
transactions."
Julian has previously worked for HM Revenue & Customs for
nearly a decade before working as a VAT adviser with a top four
accountancy firm for four years. This was followed by a nine year
stint with another national business advisory firm.
He said: "I'm looking forward to continuing my career with
Cooper Parry and am excited to be joining the fast growing tax
team. I am particularly looking forward to applying my knowledge
and experience working with clients on all their VAT
related issues."
Outside of work, Julian is a keen sports fan and supports
Swansea City and the Ospreys. He is also a keen traveller.
