Not for profit business support organisation NBV have confirmed that they will be offering discounted workshops in the Nottingham area to help those considering starting a business obtain all of the information that they need.

NBV have launched various business support services to help businesses in the East Midlands region. With the recent Business Link changes, businesses and those considering starting a business no longer have access to free face to face support. These workshops will help to answer those questions that pre start up businesses have.

These workshops will begin in January 2012 and will be held at Mercury House, Shipstones Business Centre, New Basford. 

Details are as follows:

10th January - Things You Need To Know

This workshop is aimed at those who have never started a business and want to learn the basics about running their own business. 

17th January - How To Manage Money

The content here will focus on giving attendees basic information about managing the finances of a business. Key areas will include cash flow planning, making a profit and ongoing money management.

24th January - Sales And Marketing

This workshop will help attendees understand their target market, profile their customers, define the proposition, undertake market research, establish a pricing structure and decide which marketing methods will help them reach their target customers.

These workshops are ideal for anyone starting or considering starting a business in the Nottingham area. 

Places are limited and will be charged at £15 per place, per workshop.
