This Christmas, local Vauxhall retailer, Marshall of Leicester,
is keen to put smiles on the faces of children across Leicester, by
playing Santa and delivering a boot full of presents to the
Children's Cardiac Unit at Glenfield Hospital in
Leicester.
With the help of the local community, the team at Marshall of
Leicester on Thurmaston Lane aims to collect as many presents as
possible in the run up to Christmas. They are therefore inviting
people from Leicester to visit their site to donate a new toy,
which will help to make this festive season a really special one
for the children at Glenfield Hospital.
Steve Tudor, Retail Operator at Marshall of Leicester, comments:
"We all know how special Christmas is, especially for children and
this year, we really want to get the local community involved in a
project that we hope will give the kids at the Children's Cardiac
Unit at Glenfield Hospital a Christmas to remember.
"It's amazing how such a small gesture can really make a
profound difference, so we would like to encourage everyone,
whether they have children or not, to get involved and give a gift
this Christmas."
Donated gifts will be displayed for all to see in the open boot
of the Vauxhall Zafira, which will take centre stage in Marshall of
Leicester's showroom. The car will then be used as a 21st Century
sleigh to transport the toys to Glenfield Hospital.
To get involved and give a gift, simply drop off a suitable
present to Marshall of Leicester, 301 Thurmaston Lane, Leicester,
LE4 9UX. For further information and to find out opening times,
