Temple
Free weekly legal surgeries for the Asian community, led by
Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi speaking solicitors, are to start at
Wolverhampton's Guru Ravidass Temple on Wednesday 7th December
2011.
Run by Midlands law firm Challinors, which has offices in
Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Halesowen and Birmingham, the
surgeries form part of the specialised service for the Asian
community which was launched by the firm earlier this year.
The surgeries take place every Wednesday, from 12 noon to
2.30pm, and will make legal guidance and assistance easily
accessible to the local community, as Challinors' solicitor Manjit
Kagla explains:
"The specialised service for the areas' Asian community was
developed to provide relevant, sensitive and quality expertise and
guidance.
"By holding these free weekly surgeries at the local Guru
Ravidass Temple, our team is easily accessible to all members of
the Asian community, so they can speak with us in an environment
with which they are familiar and comfortable."
Challinors solicitors already work extensively with the region's
Asian community, so understand and support Asian cultural heritage
and customs, as Manjit, who heads the service, explains:
"We hope members of the community will call in to meet with our
solicitors, who speak Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi, for concise legal
appraisals and relevant legal advice from company contracts and
structures, debt and insolvency matters, to ownership and title
matters on property."
