A well-known Shropshire business specialist has announced the
launch of her own business venture after stepping down from a
senior position held with another county consultancy for the last
five years.
Ellen Morley will however continue to work as a Consultant to
The Business Company through her new business, Zest People
Solutions, which was set up specifically to provide practical
support for local businesses in areas such as human resources and
in-company training and coaching.
With a background in human resources and more than 25 years'
experience of providing business support across a wide range of
sectors, Ellen is aiming to offer tailored solutions through Zest,
linked to particular business needs.
Speaking about her new venture Ellen said: "The current economic
climate demands that businesses perform at the highest level if
they are to remain competitive, which usually means making the most
of their people resource. Through my discussions with local
business owners over the past eighteen months I recognised a need
and a gap in the market for a practical, hands-on, realistically
priced resource that businesses could call upon as and when
required. As a result of that, Zest was born."
Since starting Zest People Solutions Ellen has worked on a
variety of projects, including the provision of HR guidance in
disciplinary matters and updating of policies and company handbooks
to incorporate the latest employment legislation changes. This in
turn has led to her coaching key personnel in such as managing
change and difficult behaviour. Her support through Zest is, she
says, proving to be a catalyst for energising people, capability
