Specialist care provider Choice Care Group has announced details
of a new home for people with learning disabilities, autism and
other complex needs in Oxfordshire.
The property, in Bicester Road, Kidlington, which will be known
as Gosford House, is currently undergoing a refurbishment programme
to ensure it is suitable for service users' needs once they move
in.
The home, which will accommodate individuals over the age of 16,
is scheduled to open in spring 2012, although Choice Care Group is
already taking referrals for placements.
Edwina Johnston, chief executive of Choice Care Group, said: "By
taking referrals now while refurbishment work is still being
carried out, we can ensure that the environment at the property is
as bespoke to the individuals' needs as possible once it opens next
year.
"We are delighted to have been able to purchase this property in
Kidlington, which will enable us to further enhance our services to
individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in
the Oxfordshire area."
