Bullring celebrates a bumper weekend

Shoppers flocked to Bullring in their thousands over the weekend to take advantage of the final weekend before Christmas.

Over 340,000 shoppers visited the centre, an increase of 43% on the same weekend during 2010 when the city was hit by snow.

Tim Walley, General Manager at Bullring, commented: "Last week was our busiest of the year with over 1.1 million shoppers visiting the centre. There's just six shopping days left until Christmas Day so we anticipate another busy week at the centre with expectations of another million shoppers passing through our doors as we remain open until 10pm on weekdays and until 6pm on Christmas Eve."

Top selling products at the centre include the iconic Burberry scarf and Levi 501s at Selfridges, and Michael Buble's Christmas album and The Inbetweeners movie at HMV.
