A high street bank is celebrating its official re-opening since
undergoing a major refurbishment.
The Barclays branch in Market Place, Mansfield was officially
opened today by Alan Meale MP.
This refurbishment has seen a number of improvements made
including open counters, private offices, and a comfortable waiting
area.
Andy Tidmarsh, Branch Manager said: "Many of the changes made
have been a direct result of customer feedback. We are now able to
offer a full range of banking services including business and
mortgage advice. We are delighted with the refurbishment which
provides a great environment for customers and staff alike."
The refurbishments to the branch took 12 weeks to complete with
most of the work taking place when the branch was closed, ensuring
the safety of customers and staff and avoiding disruption to
services.
Commenting at the opening, Alan Meale MP said: "Such facilities
are vital cogs in the community to get things operating and ensure
ordinary people have full access to their finances - Barclays have
done a fantastic job here and this investment proves the fact that
they care about and invest in customers' needs."
Sarah Holmes continues: "We want to offer all our customers more
choice and control when it comes to banking. Our new look branch,
has facilities that have been specifically developed to provide
more choice and privacy."
