A Shropshire homecare company with 25 years' experience in the
industry has retained a top level award - for the fourth time in a
row.
Anchorage Care Group, in Condover, delivers homecare services to
elderly and vulnerable clients in their own homes, 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.
And now the firm has retained its Investors in People
accreditation for the fourth consecutive time.
Managing partner and founder, Margaret Rhodes, said the news
came following a tough two-day assessment which saw members of the
management team and carers asked for their opinions, and rigorous
questions on how the business is run.
"We are delighted to have retained our accreditation for the
fourth time, which is a real testimony to the efforts of our entire
team.
"Without their dedication and commitment, our business would not
be the success it is, and we're very proud of the quality of
service and skills we deliver to all our clients across the local
area."
Margaret said Anchorage Care would now be re-assessed in around
three years' time to ensure they were maintaining their high
standards and continuing to meet the strict criteria laid out by
the Investors in People programme.
"We are committed to giving our staff the opportunity to build
on their skills and will be working hard to maintain the high level
we have set for ourselves as we move forward in the future."
Investors in People was originally set up as a voluntary
framework by a group of companies in 1991, and is all about
business improvement.
It can help transform a company's performance by targeting
chosen business priorities, and encourages firms to concentrate on
continuous improvement and skills development for their staff.
