Stratford Energy Solutions with their expansion plans
A Stratford company specialising in renewable energy saving
technology is growing so quickly it has appointed a forward
thinking accountancy firm to help it handle its expansion.
Stratford Energy Solutions, which supplies and installs solar pv
panels, ground and air source heat pumps and biomass boilers
has been so busy since its launch last year it's actually had to
turn customers away!
Now the company has appointed John Street firm Leigh Graham
Associates to manage the financial side of its business while its
founders get on with using their expertise to help householders and
businesses slash their fuel consumption, save money and reduce
their negative impact on the planet.
Stratford Energy Solutions founders Jason Savidge and Andy
Hollis decided to use their 20 years experience in the electrical
contracting and wholesale sector to set up the company which offers
a one stop shop way for people to reduce their energy
consumption.
Jason explained: "The government's Feed in Tariff which pays
people for the electricity they generate via solar pv panels has
been a huge success for us. But a recent announcement that the
rates people are paid is going to be reduced next month has seen a
mad rush for installations before the new figures come into force.
In fact it's been so manic we've actually had to turn some people
away."
Jason predicts the launch of next year's Renewable Heat
Incentive, which sees the government offer financial rewards for
householders installing other forms of renewable technology such as
biomass boilers, heat source pumps and wind turbines, will spark a
sharp rise in demand for their services - not just locally but from
across the Midlands.
"We recently became accredited to install heat pumps and will be
developing our range of accreditations to include biomass boilers
and solar thermal. Our goal is to be a "one stop shop" for energy
products, services and management with services including
electrical contracting, plumbing, heating and renewable energy,"
explained Jason.
Leigh Graham Associates audit and accounts manager Nick Heaney
added: "LGA has had a long term working relationship with Andy so
he felt it natural to approach us when he set up the new business.
Initially they wanted help with standard accountancy issues such as
obtaining limited company status, VAT, tax and running their
payroll service.
"Now they are planning to expand we are working closely with
them to discuss projects for the long term future of the company.
We're there when they need us and can act as a sounding board."
