Growing businesses from across Coventry and Warwickshire came
together to expand their chances of success at an event hosted by a
Midland law firm.
The Network of Aspiring Women (NOAW) presented the Warwickshire
Business Expo at the headquarters of Leamington solicitors Wright
Hassall to share experiences and advice with a view to developing
business in the area.
The event was fronted by Jo Cameron, founder of the NOAW, and
drew support from the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise
Partnership with board member and executive director of the Royal
Shakespeare Theatre, Vikki Heywood, on hand to answer questions at
the popular event.
Representatives from more than 50 businesses attended the
seminar which covered topics such as social media, networking and
how to enter franchising.
Vikki Whittemore, business development director at Wright
Hassall, hosted the event and felt that the sessions provided some
really positive outcomes.
She said: "It was good to hear so many success stories from
businesses in Warwickshire that are really doing their bit to help
support the region's economic recovery.
"The aim of this event was to bring business people together in
order to share ideas, top tips, examples of best practice and
basically work together to help breed more success.
"People from many business came together to share their ideas
enthusiastically and collaboratively - it was a really inspiring
day.
"Those that I have spoken to all felt that they took something
positive from the event and hopefully they can take that back to
their own areas of business and move forward.
"As a firm Wright Hassall is committed to being an active member
of the business community, connecting with companies in our area
and working towards growth."
