One of the country's fastest growing fashion and homeware
retailers has moved its headquarters to Blythe Valley Park.
Store Twenty One has moved onto the business park off Junction 4
of the M42 after four years based at Drayton Road in Solihull.
Over 100 staff are now working from the company's new 10,000 sq
ft office.
Store Twenty One has over 220 stores across the UK and employs
2,000 people nationwide and is continuing to grow, according to
estates controller Doug Sinclair.
He said: "We have opened 45 new stores over the last two years
and are moving forward with plans to continue to develop Store
Twenty One.
"This should see us opening a further 20 stores across the UK by
the end of 2012 and we are perfectly placed to drive the expansion
from our new home on Blythe Valley Park.
"Store Twenty One had been at the Cranmore Business Park in
Solihull for four years but we had got to a point where we'd
outgrown the building and needed to move on.
"We are really pleased to have secured new headquarters not too
far away which tick all the boxes we were looking for, in terms of
location and the environment for the team to work out
of."
Kate Smith, from Liberty Property Trust UK, which develops and
manages Blythe Valley Park in partnership with Doughty Hanson &
Co Real Estate, added: "We have a good mix of businesses on the
park from major international corporates to SMEs, and we are really
pleased to be able to support the growth of one of the fastest
growing retailers in the country.
"We are now up to 97 per cent let and expect to announce further
new tenants joining us soon which is a very positive sign for the
park, Solihull and the wider region."
Blythe Valley Park is set in 257 acres, which includes a
countryside park, and over the last six months has also welcomed
organisations such as Kier, Esko and Balfour Beatty Construction to
the park.
