Multi award winning, specialist regeneration developer Blueprint
is moving to new offices in Nottingham city centre.
The new premises occupy a prime location at 48-50 St. Mary's
Gate, Nottingham. Situated in the city's historic Lace Market, it
is at the heart of the city centre adjacent to the Keane's Head and
overlooking St. Mary's Church, with Nottingham Contemporary just
around the corner.
Previously based at the offices of East Midlands Development
Agency, the imminent closure of emda has resulted in a change to
Blueprint's share holding structure, now a 50/50 partnership
between Aviva Investors' Igloo Regeneration Fund and the Homes and
Communities Agency.
Chief Executive of Blueprint, Nick Ebbs, commented: "Emda's
offices have served us well for five years as we've established
ourselves as a major developer in the region, and as the team grew
to manage the development and asset management activity. But
this is a chance to move on and establish our own identity.
"We are delighted with our new location. Not only are we
now situated in a vibrant part of the city centre, but it has
excellent communication links, just a minute away from the nearest
tram stop and five minutes from the train station, making us
extremely accessible."
The offices are in an attractive former mill, part of
Nottingham's famous lace-making legacy.
Sunny Landa at NG Chartered Surveyors did the deal on behalf of
the landlord. He said: "We were pleased to secure Blueprint in this
impressive Lace Market location. It seems fitting that a company of
this type and stature is now located in an area which has a rich
Nottingham heritage. As property specialists of the Lace Market
area, NG is aware of the popularity of the location - and have made
a number of lettings in the area over the last few weeks alone,
proving that it is still a very popular place for office
space."
Blueprint is the developer behind the multi-award winning No.1
Nottingham Science Park, and this year also had astonishing success
with its first 100 per cent residential project, Green Street in
The Meadows, Nottingham, where all 38 properties sold off plan to
owner occupiers.
Blueprint is also the developer of Leicester's digital media
centre, Phoenix Square (a mix of independent cinema, digital arts,
commercial and residential space) and owns and manages a portfolio
of 250 workspaces across the region.
New projects are set to be announced next year.
