An historic Shropshire building has been refurbished and has
opened its doors as the new home of county law firm Linder
Myers.
Talbot House, which dates back to the 18th Century, sits on the
corner of Market Street and Swan Hill, has been transformed into
prestigious and enhanced office space for the firm's solicitors
working out of the growing Shrewsbury office.
The refurbishment has created a large reception area, offices,
conference room and private meeting rooms for clients to enjoy.
The company moved from their two former premises in Irelands
Mansion, in Shrewsbury High Street, and at 4 Claremont Bank. As the
business continued to grow and expand, improved accommodation and
significant room was needed to support the firm's growth.
Bill Jarvis, managing partner for the Shropshire region, said:
"The new offices fulfil their role completely, they are not only a
greatly improved work space for our lawyers but they provide a
light, spacious and enjoyable place for us to meet with
clients.
"We look forward to working out of Talbot House as we continue
to grow, expanding the services we offer and employing further
specialist solicitors for those services."
Linder Myers was founded in 1922 and in 1988 was a three-partner
firm in Manchester. The company now employs close to 100 solicitors
and more than 30 partners and has a growing 'Shire' presence with
offices in Shropshire and Lancashire.
The company provides legal services on a local, national and
international level and employs specialist lawyers dealing with a
wide range of services including conveyancing, family, wills and
probate, medical negligence, personal injury, trusts and estates
and the court of protection.
Linder Myers also provides services for business such as
commercial litigation, intellectual property and employment.
