Black Country (Brierley Hill) practice management software specialist See20/20 has secured a major software upgrade with the Ellis & Killpartrick group.

The investment will see the latest version of See20/20 - the internet-based practice management system installed in all three practices based in Bath, Cheltenham and Bristol.

Ellis & Killpartrick has been managing its multi-branch operations with the original version of the See20/20 system since 2008. It will now benefit from the new dispensing and ordering software and SpecsCare insurance module from See20/20.

Partner of Ellis & Killpartrick, Louise Barrington says the company is delighted to strengthen its partnership with See20/20.

She said: "We have always been impressed with the sophistication and convenience of the See20/20 App. In our opinion no other system matches this software for ease of use or accessibility. The ability to access patient records, view diary activity and stock movements from any location is invaluable to our multi-practice business.

"Going forward, we expect the new dispensing and ordering module to save us time and reduce the risk of human error when processing our dispensing and ordering across the group.

"We will also be exploring the benefits of our fully automated spectacle insurance facility and launching this to our patient base in order to introduce a valuable extra income stream."

Paul Houston, sales and marketing director from See20/20 said: "Following our substantial investment in upgrading and streamlining our entire system earlier this year, we are delighted with the positive response and uptake from our customers.

"Ellis & Killpartrick have relied heavily on the features of our original system.  Now, recognising the ability to develop their operations and improve productivity, they require the functionality of our latest software.

"The group stocks hundreds of designer frames throughout their practices, so it is vital they have the most advanced software to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of all their dispensing and ordering."

The pioneering practice management system offers opticians a host of benefits, as it enables patient records, stock, appointments, dispensing and payments all controlled in real-time and from any location.

Uniquely, See20/20 can be used to manage multiple branches at the same time. This means patients can visit different outlets, all of which will have access to their records, saving them from being tied to the same location.

Currently, over 300 organisations and practices across the UK now use the See20/20 system.
