Miller Homes, the nation's largest independent housebuilder, is
celebrating success in this year's NHBC Pride in the Job Awards,
with Birmingham site manager, Michael Jackson, awarded a Seal of
Excellence in the annual scheme which champions outstanding levels
of management and quality on building sites.
Michael Jackson is based at the housebuilder's Northcote
development on George Road in Erdington. Earlier this year, he was
among 26 Miller Homes' site managers from across the UK who picked
up a Pride in the Job Quality Award. The award winners then went
through to the next round of the scheme, which was recently held at
The ICC in Birmingham city centre, and here Michael picked up a
prestigious Seal of Excellence Award.
Phil Morgan, Production Director for Miller Homes in the West
Midlands region, said: "We are absolutely thrilled for Michael
Jackson and we congratulate him on his success in this year's Pride
in the Job Awards scheme. The Seal of Excellence is testament to
Michael's continued dedication and professionalism, not to mention
his highly experienced and skilled approach to construction.
"At Miller Homes we pride ourselves on the quality of our
product, and without such dedication from site managers and their
teams we wouldn't be able to deliver homes to such a high standard
for our customers."
Chris Endsor, Operations Director for Miller Homes, added:
"Michael is a very worthy Seal of Excellence winner and we are
delighted that his hard work has been recognised in this way.
"The NHBC Pride in the Job scheme is a respected and
well-established initiative, and it is extremely rewarding to see
that a total of 26 Miller Homes' site managers from across the UK
won Quality Awards this year. This is the highest number the
company has achieved to date and it is the fourth consecutive year
Miller Homes has seen an increase in the number of Quality Award
Winners, which is reflection of our commitment to continually
raising standards."
