Saturday debut for Santa Safari

Pictured: "Santa on Safari at West Midland Safari Park"

The annual Santa Safari event at West Midland Safari Park starts five days earlier than in previous years, on Saturday 26th November and operates daily until Christmas Eve.

During this time, the Parks' Discovery Trail will be decked in festive splendour and transformed into a Christmas wonderland that comes complete with new Penguin Cove, Elves and Santa's Reindeer, including Rudolph.

Now in its seventh year, the event combines with the four-mile all-weather self drive safari and Discovery Trail which also incorporates Twilight Cave, Creepy Crawlies, Seaquarium, Mark O'Shea's Reptile World, Sea Lion Show, along with Friendly Animal and Reptile Encounters.

Santa's Grotto is every child's dream come true complete with a gloriously festive sleigh ride to imaginary Safari Lapland. Children can choose their own gift and have their photo taken with Santa to take home. Also included in the ticket price is a free return ticket to visit the animals again during the winter.

Adults: £11.99.  Children (1-15 years): £14.99.  Babies (up to 12 months): £7.50.

It is essential that visitors pre-book to see Santa.  Ticket hotline: 01299 400700.
