Leading office property specialists KWB has announced Mark
Robinson has been appointed as partner with a special focus on the
M42 corridor.
Mark, aged 40, who joins Birmingham-based KWB from GBR Phoenix
Beard, is an out-of-town office specialist with a wealth of
experience including many major transactions.
His new office agency role at KWB - the largest independent
agency in the region - will include advising both landlord and
tenant clients within the out-of-town markets along the M42
corridor.
Mark said, "The opportunity to work with John Bryce and Nigel
Tripp at KWB is very exciting. I'm sure we can do great things
together. With one of the best - if not the best - marketing teams
in the region, and with the breadth of services that KWB offers, we
plan to make significant in-roads into the market."
He added: "I have joined one of the market leaders on the M42
corridor who have completed around 50 per cent of all deals there
over the last couple of years. My aim is to at first consolidate
our position as the leading niche agents for the M42 corridor and
then to help grow our tenant representation side of the
business."
Mark's excellent track record and over 20 years agency and
client-side experience includes 10 years working in London as a
Thames Valley leasing agent, and then as head of tenant
representation at Cushman & Wakefield, covering acquisition
work for the whole of the UK outside London.
Since then, he has worked in the Midlands in both agency and
office developer roles and, having worked for independent property
consultancy GBR Phoenix Beard for the last three years, he can be
credited with helping establish the agency's out-of-town presence
and strengthening their position within the Birmingham office
market.
John Bryce, managing director of KWB, said: "This is a very
exciting time for KWB. With the key appointment of Mark, this
provides a significant cornerstone to our business. With Mark's
experience and drive, we at KWB look forward to expanding our
position as the Midlands' leading independent office property
specialists, and with our reputation of performing well in
difficult market conditions we see our position only getting
stronger."
RICS qualified Mark, a keen cyclist who lives in Birmingham,
studied at Staffordshire University where he gained an honours
degree in valuation and surveying.
